I currently finished reading the book while my sister sleeps again by Barbra delinsky and this books talks about social issue with the two main characters (sisters) molly and robin. Its mostly about robin getting sick and having a coma and shes still in the coma all the way until the end of the book.where she then dies. While robin is in the hospital molly her sister is figuring out what happened but she has no clue. Shes trying to put the puzzle pieces together. She doesn't understand why shes in the hospital. she was just arguing with molly because molly said that she wouldn't drive her to track and so she just jogged to track. And she just fainted on the floor they say she had a blood clot but the doctors don't know for sure. And people found her and brought her to the hospital. And toward the end of the book molly puts the puzzle together.
She figures out that robin is her half sister and robins real dad had some issues with his heart but hes okay and hes still living. Robins dad tried telling her but she wouldn't listen to him. So when molly was looking through all of robins stuff she found videos and letters. And molly was shocked when she knew that. Molly s mom didn't want to tell molly because she would think differently about her. So robin knew that but molly didn't when she found out she was pretty mad at her mom.And then the doctors said that robin wasn't gonna live and she died and what robin really wanted besides to fix her heart was her family to join back together. And her brother a sister to be a family again. And she doesn't want anybody to blame each other for her death.
All in all,there are hard thing that are happening in this text is that robin is dying andher family doesn't know what on earth is happening.These things happen is the world every day and people die every 4 seconds. So this story can be based on something true. This story makes me think what if i was in molly's shoes what would i do?I would try to figure out what on earth is happening and i would do exactly what molly is doing now. I really have a wild imagination when i read this book. I really love this book
