Q: How does the Main Character solve her Problems throughout the Book.

     I loved it. That book was amazing. Omigod someone please tell me where to start. Okay i got it. I currently finished reading the book That Summer by Sarah Dessen. Sarah Dessen is my favorite author. Her books are amazing and they touch my heart. So the main character in my book is named Haven and she is dealing with so many problems; so she finds a way to solve her problems. And that way has to do with a boy.The boy cahnges her until she finds out the truth about him.

      One of her problems is that her dad just got divorced ,now hes getting married. Her dad was really important to her and now its his most important day, and hes getting married to Lorna Queen.She just cant get over the fact that her dad has changed and moved on with his life, and she has to move on. Another one of her problems is that her mom is going to Europe and leaving her by herself shes only 15. Her mom really wanted to change her life too after she got divorced.Haven has to learn to let go of the past.

        Another one of her problems is that her sister.... The girl that lived with her for fifteen years.... The girl that they used to laugh together and made her day.... The girl that made her proud.... The girl that made her happy....The girl that changed her life.......... is getting married and moving out. Haven is really mad to the point that she runs away from home for a day
to really see whose gonna come and find her, and her sister actually finds her.Haven cant take all this. Another problem she has is that shes so tall and everyone makes fun of her for that and she cant take all this pain.People think shes different but shes really not, she like everyone else.

        All in all, this book was amazing. She solves her problem by liking this guy that used to be her sisters ex- , until she really finds out the truth about him.She finds out the  that sumner cheated on her sister thats why they broke up. She really thought she can really be like her sister and have relationships but, then though about Sumner and what he did and just let it go. She also solves her problems by just letting it go not caring for once about other people and what they think about her. And she stands up to herself. She just forgot about it and moved on in life. For once shes happy for her father, sister, and mother, like she should be.
