Hurricane Sandy Response

       I currently read the article "Storm Aftermath"by the New York Times about the damage  that was done to the city that  affected hundreds even millions.They had to fix alot of houses and the outcome of that is they have to fix everything that damaged and they need alot of money to do that and they don't have that much money the government.And the worst part is the part is the schools. The education. What will happened to everything?

        There was alot flooding on the south shore of long island, long beach and then Rockaways were hit really bad. The highest surge hit north and south of long island. The battery tunnel as well as all the tunnels were hit. They closed all tunnels and bridges and mostly everything was closed. this storm had affected alot of people.

      The winds went about 70 miles an hour. this hurricane changed everybody's life. There were alot of deaths, people didn't have water or electricity. The stores had very bad lines. This storm was really devastating  no one will ever forget this storm for there life. This is the year 2012 Thats why we have or had alot of hurricanes its because of global warming.

       The trains closed the MTA didn't work. The trains also got flooded.people had to evacuate and go to different hospitals and evacuate from zone A and they had to use schools as shelters for people that had to evacuate. And even some animals had to evacuate. Building were ruined everything was just done.This hurricane was honestly devastating for many people. The place that got damaged the most was Coney Island and Coney island it self is gone. The most devastating thing ever.

    All in all,this strom was a mind blower. Many people suffered many people died. It was very sad to eixpience it. This hurricane was the same as Katrina.  It was very devastating to watch.Power went out. Heat wouldn't work. Even some people didnt have water or food. But thanks to  Mayer Bloomberg his people helped and gave people that and helped them throughout the storm. This article was very interesting.I will never forget this storm. NO ONE WOULD
